La Palma volcano: Footage shows lava moving across Spain's island | FULL

Live footage shows the latest damage from the black lava flowing from La Palma's volcano that erupted on Sunday night. The eruption marks the Canary Islands' first in 50 years, and has forced the evacuation of 5,500 people, and has destroyed at least 100 houses.

The lava is set to reach the sea at around 8 p.m. local time, regional leader Angel Victor Torres said on Monday, in what could trigger toxic gases and reduce visibility at sea.
