'Oscar' is an ode to the great Oscar Wilde and his poem The True Knowledge, conceived to dance on the strings of the heart, as Oscar might say—a serenade of sweet ache and the hope that lingers like a whisper in the dark. Oscar’s words have always shimmered like stardust, and inspired this melody that floats like a feather on the breeze. I like to think that perhaps this song bears some of, if not all of, the sentiment of Oscar’s devoted and loyal friend, Robbie Ross, capturing the essence of a yearning for a bond that defies the limits of time and space.

‘Oscar’ is a prayer wrapped in a promise, a testament to love's unyielding spirit. I hope it might beckon listeners to traverse the twilight, where shadows fade and the dawn of endless possibilities awaits. This is my tribute to the magic of memories and the ties that remain steadfast, even when miles apart. This song is a compass through the labyrinth of longing, and a reminder that love is a flame that never flickers out… always waiting… always illuminating the path ahead.
