The Weekly Forex Forecast shows my favorite currency pairs for pattern trading in the upcoming week. A multi-time-frame approach is used to illustrate my market approach. I always start by looking at the DXY and then provide a brief overview of my top picks. The focus is narrowed down to 8-10 pairs for close monitoring each week.

I employ a price action strategy and primarily trade standard 2- and 3-touch continuation patterns, as well as structured reversal patterns. Generally, trading high-impact news events is avoided, particularly with funded accounts, due to the high risk of unexpected slippage. I do, however, incorporate major news events and fundamental regime shifts to adjust my overall bias for a currency pair accordingly.
