The last day of Black History Month UK 2021 is the first day of COP26, which brings parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Many BIPOC activists, especially from global south countries most impacted will not be present. We come together with spiritual leaders Baba Mandaza & Nobantu Mpotulo (Africa), Valerie Brown (USA)& Alan Lechusza Aquallo (Luiseno & Maidu Nations) to honour the earth. We also hear from activists Prossy Namande (Earth Day Network, Uganda), Nashif Ahmed (Orphans for Future Nation) share in symbolic honour of the voices of the global South who have been on the frontline for decades in engaged action in stewardship of the earth.
