Farrukh Azfar is a lecturer in experimental particle physics at the University of Oxford where he conducts research in the field and teaches. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania working on the lifetimes of particles containing b-quarks. He is a veteran of the the CDF-I and II and g-2 experiments at Fermilab and the CLEO-III experiment at CESR/Cornell. He is currently involved primarily with the Camera Control of the LSST/Rubin Telescope and spends some of his research time on the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). He is interested in understanding aspects of the accelerated expansion of the Universe and neutrino physics.
