Stunningly Restored Footage of the Soviet Union's Last Revolution Day Parade (1990)

On 7 Novemeber 1990, ITN filmed what was to be the last October Revolution Day parade in Moscow's Red Square, held to commemorate the 1917 October Revolution - also known as the Bolshevik Revolution - that brought Lenin's Communists to power. Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev attended the event along with Boris Yeltsin, the man who would become the first President of the Russian Federation following the collapse of the Soviet Union less than a year later.
