In this video, we invite you to follow a truly special story at Quhaku Koi Farm – the remarkable growth journey of Kohaku and Ginrin Kohaku Koi from the renowned Maruyama Koi Farm in Yamanashi, Japan.
Back in late February 2024, we had the honor of traveling to Japan and hand-selecting each tosai (1-year-old Koi) directly with the owner of Maruyama Koi Farm. These young but highly potential Koi were then brought back to our facility in Vietnam, where we carefully acclimated and raised them in our concrete pond.
By June 2024, after gaining strength and adapting to the new environment, the Koi fish were released into our mud ponds — designed to closely replicate the ideal growing conditions found in Japan. For the next 10 months, these Koi were fed exclusively with Haruto Koi Food, a specialized diet known for supporting strong body structure, deep coloration, and refined skin quality.
Fast forward to April 2025 — harvest day. We were truly blown away by the transformation. The Koi had grown beautifully, with impressive size, vibrant color patterns, and glowing skin — a true testament to their genetics and our care.
