TRIP REPORT | First Boeing 747 in My Life! | Frankfurt to Dubai | Lufthansa Boeing 747

Lufthansa Trip Report flying from Frankfurt to Dubai onboard one of the Lufthansa Boeing 747 on a nice winter afternoon.

This was my first time flying on a Boeing 747 and, of course, the first Trip Report flying on a Boeing 747 that we have on the channel. That's where all the positive things end: an amazing experience of flying onboard The Queen of the Skies.

The onboard experience with Lufthansa was really poor: the inflight catering service was terrible (just watch it on the video) and the entertainment system had nothing interesting on it, with a really poor entertainment offer, and a joke of earphones. The PA system was almost inaudible. I really wonder who would choose to fly with Lufthansa on this route when you have Emirates for almost the same price. Maybe that was the reason why the plane was almost empty...

A totally different story is the Lufthansa Business lounges: they have been improved a lot in the last 1-2 years. Now they offer a couple of warm meals and more variety of food, in general. A positive point there for Lufthansa.
