Anyone looking into a thorough literature-based English curriculum for their first grader? Hewitt Homeschooling's Lightning Literature may be just what you need! The curriculum combines the study of classic and contemporary literature with grammar and writing exercises. We used Grade 3 last year and loved it, so we'll be using it as the core Language Arts curriculum for 2 of our kids during the 2019-2020 school year.
