극 중 쿠퍼가 동료인 로밀리에게 빗소리가 녹음된 이어폰을 건네는 장면이 있다.
망망대해 우주 안에서 듣는 귀뚜라미 우는소리, 천둥과 빗소리. 아마 태초의 아름다움은 그런 것일 테지.
덜함도 더함도 없는, 존재 자체로 의미와 위로가 되는 것.

In a scene from Interstellar, Cooper gives his colleague Romilly earphones with recordings of crickets and rain. That scene is still my favorite.
