This is a video review and demonstration of the Tark Compact and Tark Hybrid Trowels by Suluk 46.

Both the Compact and hybrid trowels feature grade 5 titanium bodies, unmatched strength to weight, rigid with a hard surface for a lifetime of abuse and performance. Because of this, we can make the working end of our trowels very thin, easily cutting into tough ground and through roots, where other trowels need to be 2 or even 3 times thicker to match our strength and rigidity. This means you lose an incredible amount of efficiency trying to dig with a very thick edge.
The Tark hybrid is a dream to use. Full sized for maximum cathole excavation, and feature rich, this will last you a lifetime. A stacked and riveted handle rim is implemented for enhanced comfort.
Our Tark Compact is designed for those looking to minimize weight and volume of their packs. Presented in a smaller format and without the comfort handle, a small sacrifice in efficiency meaning that you will have to use a few more digging actions to reach the same hole size as the hybrid. While the titanium edge is thin, we do not consider it sharp, but most ultralighters will be carrying multi-use gear that can aid in comfort such as a bandana or glove.
