Swans Laying Eggs - new nest. The mute swan pair whom have nested here for a few years, at least, have set up house and started building a big nest from reeds about a week ago. They pretty quickly laid eggs. About an egg was laid a day and last I counted there was three eggs, but the last few days she sits on them a lot, so have not see. Also a lot of other spring scenes here in The Netherlands, lambs, wood ducks, herons and more. #swans #swan #birds #birdwatching #nest #zwan

I will follow this swan nest as much as possible and it is right along my walking route for with the dog. The nest is right on a large canal by a bridge, so a great place for taking images of these loovely birds. Swans building a nest and laying eggs, spring 2019.
