The cruise steel motor yacht Jantar-98 is a pilot project of recreational boats created by Barkmet Boats. It is a motor yacht designed for inland waterways and for sailing on the sea in area "C" for 6 people. The boat is perfect for family adventures as well as for a long-term stay on the water.
The ship's hull is made of high-quality steel plates and profiles. In the wide bow there is a cozy sleeping cabin, shower, toilet, sink and storage space.
In the central part there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lockers and a salon with a wheelhouse, which includes a steering place with a map table, a steersman´s chair, sofa set (which can be folded into two additional beds) and a bar counter. Included are 2 pieces of 100 W solar panels. The salon is glazed with insulating windows with safety treatment, creating a bright and safe atmosphere.
In the stern there is a spacious cockpit for outdoor living made of EVA Deck. The cockpit and salon are connected by aluminum folding doors. The engine room is located in the stern of the ship under the cockpit floor. Access to it is through the hatch directly from the cockpit. The size of the engine room allows the installation of two large diesel tanks (230 l in total), fresh water tank (120 l), waste water (120 l), an engine and other generator units, additional heating, air conditioning, installation items, etc. The entire surface of the engine room is lined with anti-noise and anti-vibration insulation.
The construction of the boat is carried out on the basis of individual customer requirements, whether it is the motor equipment of the boat, the range and type of furnishing items, or the design of the interior. Barkmet always strives to maximally satisfy all customer needs. It is also possible to agree individually on different stages of development of the boat (hull, installation of engine and systems...).
