Photography Rules at Burning Man (that apply to EVERYONE!)

I'm sure that plenty of you out there want to get some amazing snaps of all the fantastic things that you see at Burning Man, but there are a few rules that EVERYONE should be aware of when it comes to taking pictures of people at Burning Man.

If you want to take someones picture at Burning Man then you should be getting permission before you take it. It's an invasion of privacy to take someones picture without getting an OK from them first.

It's also important to understand the difference between personal and professional photography because some of you might think that you're only taking personal shots but the way you're using them could actually turn them into professional ones so you'll need to make sure you really understand the rules of how you can use those pictures.
