STORYLINE:
Hollywood stars joined tech leaders in Los Angeles on Saturday (15 APRIL 2023) for the Breakthrough Prize ceremony.

John Legend was performing and James Corden was hosting the event, backed by leaders of Google and Facebook including Mark Zuckerberg and Sergey Brin.

Among those presenting at the ceremony: Kristen Bell, Leslie Odom Jr., Chris Pine, Robert Downey Jr., Gal Gadot and Brie Larson.

"Succession" star Jeremy Strong and "Fast and Furious" star Vin Diesel were among those attending.

The ceremony awards more than $15 million in prizes each year to researchers, scientists, physicists and mathematicians. It will be on YouTube on April 22.
