Tonight we’re heading into white‑outs, blizzards, and empty winter nights with a set of true winter horror stories where the cold isn’t the worst thing waiting outside.

The Plow Driver – A teacher stuck in a snowbank on a back road is “rescued” by a snowplow with flashing beacons and an official jacket—until the driver locks the doors, starts asking too many personal questions, and she has to threaten the air horn just to get out.
Footsteps in the Snow – A college student trudging home through a storm notices a second line of footprints perfectly matching her path… and a hooded man who stands still until she pretends to be on the phone, then sprints for the stairwell door and hits it so hard the glass rattles.
The Woman on the Porch – In the middle of a Rapid City blizzard, a young woman knocks on the door claiming her car broke down. There’s no car, no tracks in the road, and when the homeowner refuses to open up, the “stranded driver” gets closer and closer to the door—and later, smeared handprints appear on the back windows with no footprints beneath them.
The Erased Driveway – A recent widow shovels her own driveway to prove she still can…only to come home twice to find it perfectly smooth again, like no shovel ever touched it. When she finally installs a motion light, it doesn’t catch movement—it reveals a tall figure already standing at the edge of the drive, staring at her house.
The Screams from the Treeline – A seasonal worker at a lodge in Gatlinburg hears human screams coming from the dark woods during a snowstorm. Every time he steps toward the trees, the screaming stops. When he stands still, it starts again—as if something out there is trying to place him in just the right spot.
