You will need:
12x12 textured cardstock (you could also use canvas!)
Acrylic craft paint

In this painting tutorial I show you how to paint a simple silhouette landscape with trees and a fence. The nail art brushes were perfect for painting fine lines and details like the tree branches and birds! There were many different brands on Amazon to choose from I just picked one with decent reviews. The back end of most nail art brushes also have a "dotting tip" to make little dots/circles as well.

I still think it's important to learn how to use a single regular pointed round brush to make thick and thin lines, however these are a game changer for super fine detail. I'll be curious to see how they hold up over time!
