Volunteering helps stay-at-home mum feel connected to her community

Now that her youngest son is starting school, stay-at-home mum Katherine has decided she wants to do something with her free time.

The Wiltshire woman gave up work to raise her children and has decided she wants something new to do now that they are all attending school. Katherine says she wants to do something "valuable" with her new found free time and has signed up to be a community reserve volunteer with the British Red Cross.
