DIY Fairy Cottage House using natural materials

Hey, I started to create fairy houses and thought of documenting my progress on YouTube. Hoping of getting some inputs from the community. In this video I show you how to make a fairy cottage house using natural materials. Most of them I collect myself in the woods. I'm using balsa wood, small branches, craft sticks, mod podge, wood glue and moss. You can achieve such a nice natural look with branches that you find outside, it's awesome!

I start by cutting the balsa wood in the needed shapes. I endet up with 6 main pieces, 3 for the sites of the house and 3 for the roof. I decorated the 3 site pieces with some branches and added a door (made of craft sticks) and 2 windows. I guess the "tree window" turned out to be my Favorit.
When I was done decorating them, I glued all the site-pieces together and added the roof. As soon as they were together the structure was surprisingly stable and very light. Then I continued to add 4 posts to the overhanging roof, to give it more stability and a more realistic look.
The third main step was to add the balcony to the roof. Which I mad as well out of balsa wood, craft sticks & branches. As soon as I had it all together I attached it to the roof.
Then I added some more branches all around the roof to give the cottage a natural & realistic look. Done with that I added the moss on to the roof, I did that with wood glue. But first I put a layer of mod podge to protect the balsa wood from the humidity. That's pretty much it! I hope you like the result.

Materials:
balsa wood, wooden craft sticks, small branches, mod podge, wood glue and moss.

Tools:
box cutter or precision knife, secateurs, ruler, paint brush and glue.
