Bok Tower Gardens is a National Historic Landmark situated in Lake Wales, Florida. The singing tower is a true gem and a sight to behold. It is made of pink and gray granite and stands 250 ft. tall. The carillon is comprised of 60 bells that ring out every half hour and concerts are given daily. The tower also sits at one of the highest points in peninsular Florida at around 285 ft. above sea level.

The gardens were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., whose father designed Central Park in New York and the grounds at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina (among many other things).

The Gothic tower, Gardens, Hiking Trail, Bird Sanctuary, and El Retiro have a rich history that shouldn’t be overlooked by anyone visiting Central Florida
