British Airways Airbus A320-251N Manchester to London Heathrow | Full Flight

My first flight of 2021, finally! I was initially due to be flying to Jersey with Jet2 on this day, but unfortunately due to ever changing restrictions this was cancelled. I decided to book a trip down to Heathrow for the same day instead as I already had the time off booked. This in itself nearly went wrong as thanks to multiple flight changes, my 07:00 departure on an A321NEO became a 10:30 departure on an A320NEO, giving me just 3 hours in Heathrow!

Nevertheless, it was great to be back departing out of MAN again. The main benefit of COVID travel is just how quiet the airport is making getting through security a very quick experience. I headed airside about 90 minutes before departure while my aircraft for today G-TTNK was on the way up. Delivered in February 2020, it's BA's 4th newest A20N and by far the newest aircraft I've flown on in a while. Boarding commenced on time with a decent load factor of about 75%. We pushed back and departed into gusty skies with some nice views once the rain cleared off the window! A very quick flight down this morning and it wasn't long before we began a bumpy approach and landing into Runway 27R arriving around 15 minutes early.

Nothing has changed since my previous two flights with BA in December last year, the whole onboard experience is still really good. The crew on this flight (who happened to be the same ones on the return) were fantastic. The cabin in the rear part of these NEO's is different to the standard 320's and feature a slimline seat similar to that on easyJet's NEO's which again isn't bad at all. To cap it all off the whole experience from arrival at MAN to leaving LHR was painless!
