Making Bad Decisions // Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC [4K]

FREE ROAM: No Talking. Just Riding.
Today we find ourselves alone at the top of the infamous Baby Head Hill along the second section of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. We've thought about this hill for some time, knowing that it would be the most challenging obstacle of the WABDR and wondering if we had the chops - and the bike - to conquer it. On this particular day we didn't set out to try our hand, but as we came upon it, the temptation to give it the ol' college try became too much to bare. Keep in mind, Baby Head Hill is victim to GoPro's notorious flattening effect and it is much more steep and the rocks are far bigger than they appear on camera. It is quite intimidating straddling a 500lbs $15,000.00 work of art looking down at what could be a very bad day. Especially knowing the vulnerabilities of the Triumph Scrambler 1200 and the limitations of our own riding abilities.
So we do what any self respecting moron would do.
