Soft and Chewy Cream Cheese Snickerdoodle Cookie Recipe

These cream cheese snickerdoodle cookies are utterly soft and positively melt in your mouth with every bite. You’ll absolutely love that pillowy texture and that signature tang of a classic snickerdoodle from the addition of cream cheese.

You’ll need:
• ½ cup salted butter/1 US stick (softened)
• 4 oz. cream cheese (softened)
• 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
• 1 medium egg (room temperature)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ cup white sugar (coating)
• 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (coating)

Makes 18 delicious cookies

:: HELPFUL HINTS ::
* Do not over bake to prevent dry and crumbly cookies. When removed from the oven, edges should be set but the centers may seem slightly underdone. Allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet where they’ll finish baking all the way through without over baking.

* Don’t skip chilling the dough. Dough will be sticky and needs to rest. Chilling is necessary for easy handling and enhanced taste.
