Tagalog Lessons at the Beach Part 1 (E70)

In a change of scenery, I travel to Boracay island on business. Boracay island is world famous for its powdery white sands, making its beach one of the best beaches on earth.

While on the island, I am taking the opportunity to continue our lesson focusing on a few Tagalog verbs with examples on how to use them:

Ginagawa (Doing)
o Ano ang ginagawa nila? (What are they doing?)

Naglalakad (Walking)
o Sila ay naglalakad (They are walking)
o Sila ay naglalakda sa dalampasigan (They are walking in the beach)

Naglalayag (Sailing)
o Ang malaking bangka ay naglalayag (The big boat is sailing)
o Ang malaking bangka ay naglalayag sa dagat (The big boat is sailing in the sea)

Tumatakbo (Running)
o Sila ay tumatakbo (They are running)
o Sila ay tumatakbo sa buhangin (They are running on sand)

Kumukuha ng litrato (Taking a picture)
o Ang lalaki ay kumukuha ng litrato (The man is taking a picture)
o Gamit at telepono, ang lalaki ay kumukuha ng litrato (Using a phone, the man is taking a picture)
