CORONATION Street has swept the board at tonight’s Inside Soap Awards - knocking EastEnders into second place.

The ITV soap impressed fans who voted for it to take the crown as Best Soap for the second year running as well as a host of other top awards.

Fan favourites Alison King and Vicky Myers took home the Best Partnership gong for their turns as Carla Connor and Lisa Swain - AKA Swarla.
