In this video, I show how to plant watermelon seeds in the Vego seedling trays. I used the seed sifter to remove all of the woodchips. This will make it easier for your seeds to push through the soil, especially if the seeds are small. There are more benefits like having the air pruning strips, which help prevent root bound. That is going to make the seedling much stronger and increase the chances of having a healthy plant. This tray allows me to take the watermelon seedling out without damaging the roots because of the holes in the bottom of the tray. Having the individual humidity domes is a straight game-changer. It allows me to take the dome off the ones that need it off. The irrigation chamber is another game-changing piece that can not be overlooked. This allows watering from the top by a drip. This keeps the humidity high, which causes high germination rates. That is just amazing.
