Red Box Games (Digital) Warbands of the Cold North!

Mr. Tre Manor has been busy sculpting- this time with a computer!
Always curious to see what Red Box Games has been up to, I was quite curious to see Tre's first serious foray into digital sculpting.
I feel like he put out some really solid models with this release. The single piece castings are quite nice, have a good heft if you don't mind working with metal figures, and have very clearly defined details. The modular nature of the basic infantry warriors has been retained with a quite functional ball joint system and continued optional parts.
I don't think these guys will be compatible with older Red Box Games parts, but I would imagine as we see more releases that may not be as much of a problem.
There's definitely been a bit of growth in terms of model size, and I know that was a big criticism towards early models and how they were a bit closer to historical ranges in size, as opposed to the typical GW figure.
While these new figures aren't grotesquely enlarged over their previous releases, they fit a comfortable scale size compared to a lot of other current figures.
Definitely give them a look if you're in the market for a properly dressed group of adventurers ready to brave harsh weather!
