Injury prevention is the main goal of the Pediatric Trauma Center. Our Trauma team provides the education to help parents and caregivers understand why injuries happen and what can be done to prevent them in the future.

We provide many resources, including our Safety Center and Kohl's Mobile Safety Center, which offer low-cost safety products and teach safety skills, both at CHOP and in the community. In addition, our Traveling Trauma Education Cart provides education about specific injury-prevention topics for patients and families in the Hospital.
