In this lesson, we’ll explore two powerful concepts in workflow automation — parallelization and merging.
You’ll learn how to run multiple steps at the same time and then merge their results back into one unified data flow.

We’ll build an example that increments two numbers in parallel, then combines them using the Merge Node, and we’ll finish with a practical multi-step task + solution involving strings, lengths, and concatenation.

🧩 Practice Task (from the video)

1️⃣ Create a workflow with a Manual Trigger
2️⃣ Add a Set Node with:
  • x = "good" • y = "morning" • z = "sunshine"
3️⃣ In three parallel branches, determine each string’s length
4️⃣ Merge all branches into one path using the Merge Node
5️⃣ In the final Set Node, create:
  • sumOfAllLengths = lengthX + lengthY + lengthZ
  • finalString = "x + y + z"
Result → good morning sunshine 🌞 (sum of lengths = 19)
