PROJECTIONS OF OBLIQUE LINES
This Lecture describes Projections of Oblique Lines inclined with respect to the principal planes HP and VP and illustrates the terminology used in drawing Projections of Oblique Lines.

ROTATION OF LINE METHOD
The Rotation of Line method has been explained in detail in this Lecture and the following special case has been elaborated on in the Lecture discussions:

Partial Projections of the end points of the Oblique line are given, along with information regarding the TL, LTV (AL), LFV (AL) and coordinates of end P of the line.

The Rotation of the Line method has been deployed to evaluate the Projections of the Oblique Line, and its inclinations of the projected length of the line with HP and VP (α, β).

The True length of the Oblique Line in the Front View and Top View has also been evaluated using the Rotation of the Line method. The inclinations of the True length of the line with HP and VP (Ɵ, Φ) have been determined and the Traces (HT / VT) have also been obtained.

Further, the following problem related to the Projections of Oblique Lines has been illustrated in this Lecture:

 The top view of a 70 mm long line PQ measures 60 mm, while its front view measures 45 mm. Its one end P is in HP and 10mm in front of VP. Draw the projections of PQ and determine its inclination with HP and VP. Also evaluate the traces HT and VT of the line PQ.
