Also, Firebrand BJP leader Sangeet Som stoked a huge controversy after he said that the Gyanvapi Mosque, which was adjacent to the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, would be demolished like the 1992 Babri Masjid. We are joined by expert guests to share their views on this. "The Advocate Commissioner is the representative of the court, he is the eyes & ears of the court. If the eyes & ears are not allowed to enter the 'premises in question' then the judge will enter the premises," says Vishnu Shankar Jain. "Places of Worship Act 1991, does not stop ASI from doing any surveys of archaeological sites or ancient monuments," says Nupur Sharma.
