Windchill Security Labels provide an additional level of access control which allows you to classify sensitive information and restrict access to only authorized users. Security labels are set on individual objects and act as a gate in front of the standard Windchill access controls, so that if a user is not cleared for the security labels on an object, they cannot access the object, even if their standard access control permissions would otherwise allow them to.
