How to tie an OTTER'S SOFT MILKING EGG fly for winter trout in New Zealand

Описание к видео How to tie an OTTER'S SOFT MILKING EGG fly for winter trout in New Zealand

In this video I show you how to tie an OTTER'S SOFT MILKING EGG fly. It is a highly effective fly for winter trout in New Zealand especially in the Rotorua and Taupo regions where you are fishing for trout that are running up into the headwaters on their way to spawn. I fish this fly as the point fly on a double nymph rig. Get it down to the bottom fast and keep it there the whole drift as these fish often hug the bottom in schools during this period.
