UNBOXING: Andreas Mogensens rumdragt på Nationalmuseet

Upakningen af astronaut Andreas Mogensens rumdragt på Nationalmuseet. Rumdragten af Sokol-typen skræddersys individuelt og anvendes i forbindelse med opsendelse og landing. Dragten er anvendt af Andreas Mogensen i forbindelse med IRISS missionen i 2015. Dragten udstilles på Nationalmuseet fra 2. september 2016.

'Unboxing' Andreas Mogensen's spacesuit at the National Museum of Denmark. The spacesuit is of the Russian Sokol-variant and is made to fit the individual crew members. The spacesuit is used during launch and landing in the Soyuz spacecraft. The suit was made for the Danish astronaut and used by him during the ESA IRISS mission in September 2015. Andreas Mogensen is the first Dane to journey into outer space. The suit can be viewed at the National Museum in Copenhagen from September 2nd 2016.
