So I finally got around to upgrading the horrific mufflers on my 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport. MTC in the UK made me these stainless and carbon slip-ons. Now that Inline-6 sounds appropriate, plus the bike looks good with no bags (stock mufflers look BAD without bags on)

Review: The quality of these slip-ons is very good for the cost. They look and fit together great. The hangers are cheap but worked ok. Otherwise the hardware was good quality. Install difficulty was very easy. Everything fits well. The hangers and alignment matching took the most time, but was simple. As for the sound, I was impressed. They are like having 2-in-1 since I opted for removable dB killers. They drop the output quite a bit while retaining good sound. But removing the dB killers is where the party starts. The bike sounds DEEP at idle and low revs, then climbs into a proper inline-6 wail in the midrange and above. The volume with baffles in is a little louder than stock and without them it's considerably louder. Not too loud, but enough to be heard. There is some drone at cruise with them open, but it's not bad. I would describe the sound as aggressive but controlled and uniquely i6. I'll be posting ride videos soon.

Im hopin this'll help some fellow owners make an educated decision. That engine deserves to be uncorked!
