ADDITIONAL VIDEO NOTES:
Well I know Beats is typically viewed as just a brand for aesthetics, often worn by celebrities and athletes but in all honesty, I bring the Beats Fit Pro on almost all my trips because they are just so comfortable, reliable, and have great ANC and microphones, and they are dual native - working well with Apple and Android.

These, however, are one third the price of the Fit Pro, so they have the potential to be a great recommendation, if one specific thing doesn’t bother you.

4 colors

Incredibly compact and lightweight case

FIT/COMFORT
4 different ear tip sizes
Easy to adjust without controlling
Small and lightweight
Similar ergonomics to previous Beats buds and airpods

Earbuds chirp when you open the case

Aesthetics

MICROPHONE TEST

SOUND QUALITY ANALYSIS
Bluetooth 5.3
Surprisingly less bass - a much more neutral balance than older beats products
vocals get buried or at least the higher ones do

But not perfect.

Thin and even lack details
I could be wrong but it sounds like there is an emphasis on lower mids up to around 600hz, then vocals above that get eclipsed
I want more fullness

Overall, if you don’t compare them side by side with more premium options, they are definitely not bad.

Nothing ear(a) is $20 more though, sounds much better, and has ANC

ANC/Transparency - None
Keeps them light and long enough battery

Charges via USB-C, no wireless charging
Strangely, they do not include a cable anymore
Charge from your phone, tablet, laptop, or a wall
5 min = 1 hr
Claimed up to 18 hr battery life, no mention of earbuds battery

PROS
Dual native - iOS and Android quick pairing and FindMy or Find My Device
Spatial audio

CONS
No IP rating
No auto play/pause
THE ONE HUGE CON- the controls!

Conclusion - If you can afford an extra $20, I think the nothing ear(a) are a better option.

If you really love how these look, they won’t disappoint you. They are still an impressive offering from Beats and I think this really completes their lineup.
