Artist Danielle Klebes (b. 1989) lives and works at Wassaic Project in Wassaic, N.Y. "With moving constantly, always being the new person in the group, I wanted to convey the feeling of loneliness in a crowded space" , said Klebes. ARTing's interview with Klebes unveils collages of different fragments from her life, as experienced through close friends and acquaintances, both outdoor and indoor, during her various residency experiences. During the pandemic, she rented a furnished apartment for a few months from a Hemingway-type male artist, which provided a unique experience and interaction with the space for her as a queer female and her queer friends.
