WE BOUGHT THIS BURNED 1775 HISTORIC HOME IN NATCHEZ, MS

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! At last we can reveal our next project, and she is so SO special. Everyone, meet Hope. Hope, meet everyone. We can't begin to tell you how honored and humbled we are to be taking on the restoration of this pre-Revolutionary War lady (that's the American Revolution, for our global friends). This home was built while Mississippi was still a Spanish territory. There isn't room on this page to list of all the history these walls have witnessed.

This home has stood through occupation by multiple countries, numerous wars, depressions, tornados, earthquakes:you name it, she's seen it, and she's lived through it. For almost 250 years she has been a stalwart against whatever raged around her. However, these last few months have been the hardest this lady has yet seen. In March she was ravaged by fire, and it was unknown if she could be saved.

Little did the city know that they now have among them to people who have a point to prove when it comes not only to saving historic homes, but especially when it comes to historic homes others would label as a "tear down". You see, we lost a home to fire three years ago this very day. Our 24th wedding anniversary was marked by a lightening strike and the loss of a magnificent home. Since that day we've felt like we had unfinished business, and three years to the day later we are getting a chance at restoration redemption.

Enter Hope Farm, a Spanish Colonial period home built by Spanish Governor of the territory, Carlos Luis Boucher de Grand Pre, and now, owned by us. Celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary with us as we begin the process of Restoring Hope
