[FR] Immolation est sans doute le morceau qui a le plus changé en cinq ans avec les Raindrops. Il me semblait donc logique de refermer ce chapitre important en livrant la version la plus sincère possible, celle qui porte vraiment tout ce que ce groupe m’a donné.

Ce qu’on a construit a tenu face au feu et au temps. Il n’y avait plus rien à prouver, seulement quelque chose à mettre en jeu.

À un moment donné, persister tel quel représente un frein. Certains verront ici une limite quand d’autres comprendront qu’il faut parfois s’approcher du soleil pour savoir s’il faut lâcher prise, ou brûler plus fort que jamais.

[EN] Immolation is probably the song that has changed the most over the past five years with the Raindrops. It felt only right to close this important chapter by releasing the most honest version possible, one that truly carries everything this band has given me.

What we built endured fire and time. There was nothing left to prove, only something left to put on the line.

At some point, persisting as things are becomes a restraint. Some will see a limit here, while others will understand that sometimes you have to move closer to the sun to know whether it’s time to let go, or to burn harder than ever before.
