JOYA THAOSEN Born to be a Dimasa warrior. she war born on 26th oct 1925 at Jorai Bathari Villege. Dima hasao District. (Assam)

A 19 year old dimasa girl raised her voice against British Raj. Joya Thaosen organised Revolutionary dimasa Army under the leadership with Arjun Langthasa and Joti Dao Kemprai.
her voice forced the people of SAMPHARDISA, Khepre, Kouldisa,Diyung ect. to raised again the British.

On 7th April 1944 they were Attacked by the British force at Khirem-kowai range near Dimapur Naga hills. she lost her life on 7th April 1944 in the battlefield.
