Rimmer Bros MGF and MG TF 304mm Big Brake Conversion Kit - 4 Pot Calipers - Front

John Paul at RimmerBros demonstrates the process and tools needed to fit a big brake conversion kit to your MGF or TF.

The kit includes a pair of red MG embossed AP Racing 2 piston calipers, pads, pins, clips and 304mm discs. It can be used to either, replace the 4 piston factory AP racing system as fitted to MGF Trophy & MG TF 160, or to upgrade the standard sliding type brakes.

Straight forward bolt on replacement for original 4 pot calipers. If fitting these calipers as a brake upgrade from conventional sliding calipers, you will need to check the clearance to the back of the wheel carefully before allowing the wheel to rotate under driving conditions. As a rule of thumb, all Trophy specification alloy wheels have sufficient clearance as do all MG TF 135 and LE500 alloy wheels. Minimum wheel size = 16"
