I start with a quick look at some "Atomic Clock" alarm clocks I bought many years ago (the oldest ones are from about 1998) and then I tell you about two "Shower Clocks" I have. The older one is a Ken-Tech clock which was damaged when it fell off the wall of the shower onto the hard floor. The newer one is the LaCrosse Technology model 515-1912.

This clock is "splashproof," so it will survive well enough if it's attached to the wall of a shower. (Just don't put in a location where it will be blasted by the shower spray all the time.) The clock features "Atomic Time" reception from WWVB in Colorado. It can be set to several times zones from Hawaii to the Atlantic Time Zone. The clock also has an outdoor thermometer and hygrometer transmitter with a range of up to 100 meters. The display can be set to either show outdoor temperature and humidity or the indoor temperature (in your shower stall) with a seconds readout for the local time. And, of course, it shows the local time, date and day of the week. The clock itself runs on two AA batteries and the thermometer/hygrometer also uses two AA batteries. I bought this clock in November 2023 for about $35 from Amazon.

Although this is sold as a Shower Clock it is certainly not limited to that application. The clock comes with a suction cup which can be removed so that the clock can be hung on a nail. It also has two small holes in the battery cover so you could run a string through those holes for other mounting options. Or just use the built-in stand to use this clock on any counter, tabletop or desktop.
