Minnie Peterson Campground near Forks Washington is a 9 site primitive campground located just off and adjacent to the road leading to the famous Hoh Rainforest area of Olympic National Park. Managed by Washington State DNR the small campground is accessed via short spur or cut off that runs in one direction through the park. Sites are tucked in to a heavily forested setting with ample privacy. Best suited to small RVs and tent campers there are no utilities or water in the campground. A newly upgraded pit toilet is available (but due to location gets a ton of use and can be very nasty inside!).

Some of the sites are enormous, for example the handicap site, but access is limited due to the narrow road and tight maneuvering. Very scenic tent camping sites. Dirt roads and camping pads. A few sites are walk ins. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site.

Open year round the campground is available on a first come first served basis. The remote location is not serviced so guests are asked to pack out what they pack in. To access recreation sites on DNR-managed land with your vehicle, you’ll need a Discover Pass.
