Harley Quinn's bat from Suicide Squad movie [2016].
Materials: a wooden baseball bat, acrylic paints, black, red and blue permanent markers, acrylic varnish.
I made this as a special gift for a really very big fan of Harley Quinn.
It was a fun project, and my first prop in which I used an airbrush to do the paintjob. I also had to practice a little Harley's (or propmaker's) handwriting to add a more realistic look to this prop.

Here are the most important steps of this work:
1. Removing a company's logo with acetone and sandpaper (that was not as easy as I expected).
2. Cutting out the stencil for the "good night" inscripiton and putting it on the bat.
3. Putting some masking tape in the right spots, and changing the arrangement while painting the pattern below the handwriting.
4. Securing the paintjob with acrylic varnish.
5. Writing the whole text starting with "hush little baby..." (this text is able to be found on the internet).
6. Spraying on acrylic lacquer.
7. Wrapping the handle with a sports tape and weathering it a little with graphite.
8. Burning Lynx logo on the bottom of the bat.
