I'll give this 6 inch palm sander 3.5 stars out of 5 stars because it does work well for the money I bought it for but does not compare to the festool palm sander I have used, but overall gets the job done. The Ridgid 6 inch palm sander is more aggressive and more powerful compared to the 5 inch palm sander made by Ridgid. This particular Ridgid palm sander has 2 different orbital modes and also has speed control. It also has a trigger lock mechanism so that you don't have to hold the trigger while you are using the sander. Model number for this Ridgid Orbital Palm Sander is R2611.
