VW Golf MK7 (5G) adaptive lane assist keeps you center on your lane

By default VW lane assist will intervene when you are drifting close to the side of your lane. If you release the steering wheel and the lane assist will take over, your car will ping-pong left and right between lane in your lane. Luckily you can change #laneAssist to a different setting or even add the option to adjust it from the infotainment screen.

ℹ️ After making the change there's an additional option on the infotainment screen to enable Adaptive Lane Guidance. This option will keep your car in the center of your lane instead of intervening at the last moment when your car is drifting to one of the sides. One step closer to autopilot.

💻 This tweak requires diagnostic interface like OBDeleven, VCDS or any other scan tool that will let you set adaptation values in VAG cars.
