Intuitive Painting Techniques | Fragments of My Mind

"Fragments of My Mind" is a painting series I made as a way to unplug from my monkey brain and allow my painterly instincts to take over. This video takes you through a variety of intuitive painting techniques I use for almost all of my abstract artworks.

I enjoy this way of working because with each session I am left with a surprise. Part of me would love to know what the final artwork would look like, but the more intuitive side of me knows it will turn out how it should. By leaving the end result open for interpretation I allow space for myself to make bold decisions early and late into the art-making process.
