Zikris sect is considered a Mahdavi sect of Sunni Islam whose followers are living in Northern Balochistan especially in the area of Turbat and its adjacent areas. According to their beliefs their Imam Mahdi has come in the world that's why this sect called Mahdavia sect. Koh e Murad, Turbat, is considered one of the holy place among zikris because their Imam Mahdi had come to this place. Chogan is another famous religious practice among them.
