Solo Hiking in Golden Ears Provincial Park - West/East Canyon Trail Loop

Follow along as I walk in Golden Ears Provincial Park located around a 1-hour drive (55km) outside Vancouver, British Columbia.
After parking in the West Canyon Trailhead Parking Lot I completed the West/East Canyon Trail Loop.
It was my first time doing the detour to the Lower Falls on the West Canyon Trail. Best to give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes for this section.
It was also my first time finding the Upper Falls along the East Canyon Trail. Upper Falls to Lower Falls trail section can get a bit technical. Best not to rush this section giving yourself an extra 30-45 minutes. The trail to the Upper Falls is not well marked and I found having my Garmin GPSMAP 67 quite useful as the trail was visible with the mapping features.
Without the detours this trail loop should take around 3.5 - 4 hours.
