Stocks in action in early trade this morning: Reliance Industries shares see rise after QIA (Qatar Investment Authority) makes a billion-dollar-investment in Reliance Retail.

Adani group stocks lost five lakh crore rupees in value on 23rd August, but all Adani stocks including Adani Power, Adani Ports, Adani Enterprises see a surge in early trade on Thursday.

Global investors sell their shares in blue chip Chinese stocks to the tune of 11 billion dollars after major financial institutions decide to go underweight on China stocks.

After SBI's Ecowrap that pegged India's growth at 8.3% for Q1 of FY24, ICRA report forecasts Q1 growth higher at 8.5%. However annual GDP growth has projections for FY24 come in lower at 6.1% versus SBI's estimate of 6.5%.

Vegetable inflation that has contributed to high headline inflation numbers for July is likely to ebb out in September as per RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das. This on the back of increased supply of essentials like Tomatoes and Onions.

And, Samsung says its Fold and Flip phones will be the big growth drivers for revenue.
